The Butterfly Patch Nursery & Preschool in Cobham

Our day nursery in Cobham (one of six of our amazing nurseries) is based in the former St John's Church Hall, in the Heart of Cobham Village. We are excited to offer childcare 51 weeks of the year, in a homely and warm environment.

In our Preschool, we encourage play with not just toys - but also recycled materials and everyday objects. We believe preschool learning through exploration is incredibly important and fully embrace The Curiosity Approach.

The curiosity approach offers little ones fantastic sensory and learning opportunities to learn through real-life, natural, holistic objects and thingamajigs! At The Butterfly Patch Cobham, we have taken this approach and added our own flavour to the spaces we have.

This approach offers our Early Years setting great imaginative play opportunities whilst also promoting recycling, upcycling and reuse. We try to avoid having too many plastic toys - we'd rather repurpose household plastics for our learning activities!

Cambridge Early Years Learning Centre

The Butterfly Patch Cobham is proud to be a recognised as the 1st Cambridge Early Years Learning Centre in the UK, offering an international early years curriculum for children aged 3 to 5.

Designed by global education experts, the Cambridge Early Years programme supports every area of child development through play-based learning and a child-led approach.

Our nursery uses this high-quality framework to prepare children for school and beyond — nurturing confident, curious, and independent learners in a calm and creative environment.

We offer

Our nursery in Cobham is able to offer childcare 51 weeks of the year and government funding (9 month, 2 year old & 3-4 years).

Glittering Glow Bugs for children aged 3 months to 2 years

Creative Caterpillars for children 2 to 3 years
Bouncing Butterflies for children for our Pre-school

All are delivered under the EYFS framework and inspected by OFSTED.

There are also extra activities provided by us and external providers such as music classes, hairdressers, baby massage, and many many more.

NEW: Language lessons - right now our little ones are learning Spanish more languages coming soon.

Monthly date nights - now offering regular evening sessions, ideal for date nights!

How to register

To register for our nursery in Cobham your little one we ask that you speak with our nursery manager or visit us for a show-around to discuss the details. The nursery manager will then send you a registration link. The form will take 10-15 minutes to complete.

Please note submitting a registration form does not confirm a nursery space, this is subject to availability.

We accept 9 month, 2 year old and 3-4 year old funding, the government's tax-free childcare account, vouchers (from most providers) and Direct Debit payments.

We're now offering 9 month old funding from 6 months old! Receive your funding early!
