Our Forest School & Nursery in Morden Park
Welcome to our Forest School in Morden Park! Here, children spend most of their time outside, exploring the incredible 190 acres of nature that is Morden Park, right on our doorstep. We head outside in the rain, snow, sun and wind* and children get to safely learn to use tools like hammers and knives**, climb trees and so much more.
We’re proud to be the only local Forest School where even babies can experience regular outdoor learning in the park from an early age.
Your little one WILL come home muddy, they WILL make a mess in your car, all whilst making unforgettable memories and learning lifelong skills.
At this nursery, we encourage exploration through curiosity and free flow. We let little ones play both inside and out, choosing their own toys, materials and everyday objects to explore.
*We follow guidance from the Met Office, there may be times of the year in extreme conditions and lightning where we will be back at base. **We use knives and other implements as tools, this is risk assessed and highly supervised.

We offer...
Full and half-day childcare for babies to pre-school ages (3 months to 5 years) . We will spend most of the day outside and our babies will get to explore the outside world but also have the comfort of a regular day nursery.
We are able to offer childcare 51 weeks of the year and government funding (9 month, 2 year old & 3-4 years).
All are delivered under the EYFS framework, Forest Schools and inspected by OFSTED.
Good grub programme & Healthy Early Years London - fresh healthy brain food.
Extra activities provided by us and external providers.
Fully air-conditioned rooms help keep children comfortable throughout the warmer months.
Healthy Early Years London
The Butterfly Patch Nurseries is proud to be taking part in Healthy Early Years London (HEYL). It is an awards scheme funded by the Mayor of London which supports and recognises achievements in child health, wellbeing and development in early years settings.
HEYL will help to reduce health inequalities by supporting a healthy start to life across themes that include healthy eating, oral and physical health and early cognitive development.

How to register
To register your little one we ask that you speak with our nursery manager or visit us for a show-around to discuss the details. The nursery manager will then send you a registration link. The form will take 10-15 minutes to complete.
