about our nursery
Our space and services
Based within Avenue Primary Academy in Sutton, we offer a full daycare service from a specially converted private nursery space & dedicated outdoor space.
We offer daycare from 7:30am to 6:00pm Mon - Thurs and 7:30am to 3:30pm Friday during the Avenue Primary School term timetable.
We do also have some limited school-hours places - please enquire on your show-around for more details.
A safe, comfortable and homely environment for your little ones, with access to our garden and the wider school grounds on a daily basis regardless of the weather.
All delivered under the EYFS framework and inspected by OFSTED, we are also part of the NDNA Quality Counts scheme.
Extra activities are frequently provided by us and external providers, such as music classes, hairdressers, baby massage, and many many more.

Curiosity approach at The Butterfly Patch
The curiosity approach offers babies and toddlers fantastic sensory opportunities to learn through real-life, natural, holistic objects and thingamajigs! This enables them to use all of their senses to play and explore to further their development.
This approach offers great imaginative play opportunities whilst also promoting recycling, upcycling and reuse.

We accept the government's tax-free childcare account, vouchers (from most providers) and Direct Debit payments. We have a 5% discount for siblings and other discounts available to "people who help us" - ask on your show around.
To register your little one we ask that you speak with our nursery manager or visit us for a show-around to discuss the details. The nursery manager will then send you a registration link. The form will take 10-15 minutes to complete.
