Talking therapies may sound a little odd… something you don’t do every day, only hearing about it being used in extreme cases of depression?
But this couldn’t be further from the truth! There is immense stigma around talking therapies, but these can be very useful in everyday coping.
They are also more than just talking – these can take share in the form of one-on-one chats, group counselling (in person, over the phone or online), self-guided or online well-being courses and much more.
So, whether you are feeling stressed, anxious, having trouble sleeping, low in mood or need help with coping, here are some local taking therapy teams (these are for individuals 18 or over and are totally free).
Alternatively, you can search ‘NHS talking therapies’ online to find your local service.
